Because our family and friends cover from coast to coast it is easier to post here to let you know... HE IS BACK!!!! Nick was released today from the bishopric. After three years of amazing experiences and far to many blessings to list, Nick will be home again. I know he faces this change with mixed emotions. His first reaction is relief, (he is working on his thesis for graduate school and has traveled for work every week this last month.) But, he will also miss working with amazing men and seeing miracles happen in the lives of others.
I am grateful to be married to a man who can see the needs of other's before his own. Nick understands what the Lord expects of him and is willing to go and do it. I am also grateful to so many of you, who have molded him into the man he is today. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge all of the Lord's tender mercies in our lives. He truly has been carrying us BUT I would also be lying if I did not say I am looking forward to more help with the children on Sunday. We can go from zone back to man-to-man.

Congratulations! Great job, and thanks for all the hard work, Nick.
ahhhhh. a sigh of relief. was the whole bishopric released? sundays will be so nice now I bet!
Yeah! We are anticipating a similar kind of Sunday any week now. I think it will be weird too. We're used to it just being me and the kids on our little bench. In fact, I think we'll have to move locations in the chapel to accommodate him. I'm sure Nick did a fabulous job. I've always thought the world of him. What a great guy!
I have to admit, I sent up a few hallelujias for you both. I know the ward will miss his leadership and example, but I'm so glad you get him back!
